last night’s episode was elliot trying to live a normal life. of course, nothing is that simple.

tyrell does indeed have a dark side to him not yet exposed to elliot.  tyrell has shown himself to be a master manipulator and fluent in swedish (i am assuming).  and he practices bdsm on his pregnant wife.  overall, he should be considered the ultimate sociopath in the vein of american psycho, beautiful on the outside and corrupt to the core on the inside.  perhaps that is why he is the face of evil corp.

elliot and shayla kindled their relationship in gideon’s party. they seem to be a perfect fit. it’s no different than the relationship between marla,and tyler in fight club. they can see the world crumble together. upon exposure to the evil corp internet leak, we find out that elliot’s mom was victim of the toxic waste incident caused by evil corp. this is a make or break point for elliot.  he has a decision to make,

the whole angela and ollie relationship is a bit stale already so eknme won’t dwell too much on that.

mr. robot continues to be somewhat of an enigma of a character, but eknme believes that mr. robot is an alter ego of elliot after elliot mellows out after taking morphine.  that has seemed to be the case more than once already.

this television series continues to intrigue.  in fact, the second episode has gained its highest ratings yet on the usa network.
