with the impending greece default, it is another week. there were long lines at the banks in greece as they were shut down. maybe the japanese were right in their resolution of this problem — keeping money in mattresses. all the world markets took a drop as we are holding our breath for a bleak resolution to the greek situation. this may be the case for another germany. now this time is not after the war but after the great recession. the international monetary fund withdrew their support of the greek government. president obama tried to resolve the situation over the weekend with the greek prime minister, but it was definitely too little too late. most of the sources of money for the greek government have withdrew.
now it’s a matter of time…
it’s a bad time for morning coffee, but coffee may be the only solace as we await to see the greek government fall…
