be on the lookout on indeed.com and other job search websites. with the uptick in unemployment, job scams are now popping up. some of the websites are first to catch them, but others are a participant in the scam itself. most of these are easily recognized by badly written email job offers — and the most tell-tale sign of craigslist.
the worst has been that the job suggests that you, the employee, help them on the computer to post things for them on craigslist. most likely, the things are either stolen or otherwise fake. once you post it up, you will be liable for the damages. these damages can cost your days in court, jail or the government taking your home, your car and other things that you own. don’t do it and stay safe!
